Trench Life

Soldiers had to live with the constant danger

s of being sniped by an enemy sniper, and being shelled. Soldiers also suffered from mental condition, which is  where the things that they have witnessed, the sound of guns, artillery shells and machinery could lead to something called shell shock.

The trenches were also flooded with water which making their feet constantly wet, making their feet rot, which leads to a physical illness called trench foot.

Tanks where  another big threat to the trench life because they could crash into the trenches (as shown here) and enemy tanks could also blow up places to shelter, and people.
